My internship consisted of performing maintenance and regulating that all the parts of the molds were up to date. If any piece would have been broken, my responsibility was to make a brand new one using a manual lathe or mill, following the dimension of the specific piece blueprint.

Volunteer to a non-profit organization that helps low income communities by 3D-printing hand/arm prosthetics for young adults and children. I used my local library 3D printer to print the model "Phoenix Hand" using the software, Thingiverse.com

The model that I choose was for those who have missing fingers and have functional palm or wrist. This design is able to function by bending the wrist or palm which forces the fingers on the device to open and close.
